About the Product
- Consists of retangular units, fabricated from a double twist, hexagonal mesh of soft annealed, heavily galvanised wire boned with a 0.5mm thick special PVC (Poly Vinyl Choride) continuous coating
- A complete protection against possible corrosion is thus obtained making the gabions suitable for use in marine or polluted environments
- Filled with stone, gabions become a large, flexible and permeable building block from which a broad range of structures may be built
- All steel wire used in the fabrication of the netting and in the wiring operations during construction shall be to BS 1052:1980, having a tensile strength of not less than 280 N/mm² and not exceeding 500 N/mm²
- All wire used in the fabrication of the netting and in the wiring operation during construction shall be heavily galvanized and complied with BS EN 10244-2:2001 and BS EN ISO 1461:1999
